His Excellency Mr. Jeffrey Onyeama, Nigerian Minister of Foreign Affairs, received His Excellency Dr. Ali bin Ghanem Al-Hajri, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Federal Republic of Nigeria in his office at the Ministry's headquarters.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Nigerian Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed his thanks and gratitude for the warm reception and hospitality he received during his visit to the State of Qatar last year. He talked about the State of Qatar and its effective role in the international community, and also referred to its impressive success in organizing the 2022 FIFA World Cup, as well as its great success in organizing the second part of the Fifth United Nations Conference on the Least Developed Countries.

During the meeting, they reviewed prospects for cooperation and discussed issues of common interest between the two countries.
