Minister of State for Foreign Affairs meets Cameroonian Minister of External Relations

H.E. Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar met with H.E. Lejeune Mbella Mbella, Minister of External Relations of the Republic of Cameroon, on the sidelines of the 50th session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Council of Foreign Affairs Ministers, held in Yaoundé.


Qatar Embassy Abuja supports Kano University

H. E. Dr. Ali bin Ghanem Al-Hajri, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, signed a memorandum of goodwill to support students at the University of Kano, during his reception of the university delegation at the mission headquarters in the capital, Abuja.


Qatar's Ambassador to Nigeria visits the Emir of Borno

H. E. Dr. Ali bin Ghanem Al-Hajri, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, visited His Eminence Abubakar Ibn Umar Al-Kanmi, the Shehu of Borno, at his palace in Maiduguri, during his official visit to the state. His Excellency was accompanied during the visit by the Deputy Governor of Borno State, His Excellency Umar Usman Kadafur, along with a number of government officials.


Qatar's Ambassador to Nigeria visits Ngala Arabic Language Village

His Excellency Dr. Ali bin Ghanem Al-Hajri, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, visited Arabic Language Village Ngala in Borno State, as part of his official visit to the state. His Excellency also delivered a lecture on the efforts of the State of Qatar in serving the Arabic language.




The Nigerian president departs Doha

His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, left Doha on Monday, 03/04/2024, after an official visit to the State of Qatar. Upon his departure from Hamad International Airport, His Excellency and the accompanying delegation were bid farewell by His Excellency Mr. Jassim bin Saif Al-Sulaiti, Minister of Transportation, His Excellency Dr. Ali bin Ghanem Al-Hajri, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Nigeria, and a number of senior officials.



His Highness the Amir and the President of Nigeria witness the signing of Agreements and MoUs between the two countries

His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Amir of the country, may God protect him, and His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, witnessed the signing of a number of Agreements and Memoranda of Understanding between the governments of the State of Qatar and Nigeria, during the official visit of His Excellency the Nigerian President to Doha. The signed Agreements and MoUs include the fields of Economy, Investment, Trade, Tourism, Law, Culture, Employment, Higher Education and other vital areas of mutual benefit to the two countries.
