His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and his accompanying delegation visited the Qatar National Museum on Saturday, 03/02/2024, during his official visit to the State of Qatar. On his tour of the museum, His Excellency the Nigerian President was accompanied by His Excellency Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Hamad Al Thani, Director of the National Museum of Qatar, where he viewed the museum’s most important collections in the various galleries and listened to a comprehensive explanation of the museum’s precious treasures.

His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, arrived in Doha on Thursday, 02/29/2024, on an official visit to the State of Qatar. Upon his arrival at Hamad International Airport, His Excellency and his accompanying delegation were received by His Excellency Mr. Ibrahim bin Youssef Fakhro, Director of the Protocol Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Dr. Ali bin Ghanem Al-Hajri, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Nigeria, and a number of senior officials.

His Excellency Mr. Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, Nigerian Minister of Foreign Affairs, gave a lecture at the Diplomatic Institute in Doha on Qatari-Nigerian relations, in which he addressed a number of important topics related to energy diplomacy, climate change, and the future of Middle East-Nigeria relations. His Excellency also spoke about the State of Qatar and its pivotal role in the field of global energy, noting the importance of strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the field of gas and energy transition.

H.E. Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Nigeria, received H.E. Dr. Ali bin Ghanem Al-Hajri, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, in his office at the Ministry’s headquarters. During the meeting, issues of common interest and ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two countries were discussed.

E. the former Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari, His Eminence Faruk Umar Faruk, Emir of Daura, and a delegation from Qatar Charity.

Mr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Kuwari, CEO of Qatar Charity, visited His Eminence Faruk Umar Faruk, Emir of Daura, at his palace, during the mission’s visit to Katsina State, Nigeria. In turn, the head of the mission thanked him for the visit, praising the qualitative development projects implemented by the State of Qatar in Nigeria and Katsina State in particular.

During the visit, H. E. the Ambassador conveyed the Father Emir's greetings to the former President. In turn, he thanked the State of Qatar for the development work it is implementing in Nigeria, and conveyed his greetings to His Highness the Emir of the country, "may God protect him," and the Father Emir.

H.E. Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, received at the ministry’s headquarters, H.E. Dr. Ali bin Ghanem Al-Hajri, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Nigeria, and H.E. Mr. Yousef Al-Kuwari, Executive Director of Qatar Charity, accompanied by his working team, within the framework of Strengthening bilateral cooperation between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Nigeria.

His Excellency Mr. Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja, received His Excellency Dr. Ali bin Ghanem Al-Hajri, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, in his office.
