The Ambassador of the State of Qatar receives the Chairman of the Commission of the Economic Community of West African States

His Excellency Dr. Ali bin Ghanem Al-Hajri, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, received His Excellency Dr. Omar Alieu Touray, Chairman of the Commission of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), at the mission’s headquarters in Abuja. During the meeting, issues of common interest and ways to enhance cooperation between the two parties were discussed.


Nigerian Chief of Defence Staff receives the Ambassador of the State of Qatar

His Excellency General Christopher Gwabin Musa, the Chief of Defence Staff of Nigeria, received His Excellency Dr. Ali bin Ghanem Al-Hajri, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, in his office at the Nigerian Army Headquarters, Abuja. During the meeting, issues of common interest and ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two countries were discussed.





His Excellency President of Sao Tome Receives the Credentials of the Ambassador of Qatar

His Excellency Eng. Carlos Manuel Vila Nova, President of the Democratic Republic of Sao Tome and Principe, received the credentials of H. E. Ali bin Ghanem Al-hajri as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary (Non-Resident) to the Democratic Republic of Sao Tome, on Wednesday 08/02/2023 at the Republic Palace in the capital Sao Tome.



A Nigerian honours the State of Qatar for its support of anti-drug and crime programs.

The certificate of honour has received by His Excellency Dr. Ali bin Ghanem Al-Hajri, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Nigeria during the ceremony at the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Abuja, in the presence of Dr.Oliver Stolpe, Representative of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in Nigeria and a delegation from the Centre for the Revival of Ethics between the Youth of Nigeria and the Alliance National Against Drug Abuse.


The State of Qatar signs a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT)

The State of Qatar (Qatar Charity) signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in the presence of a large number of officials and heads of departments, to implement the largest housing project in the capital, Abuja (Al-Taybeen Village) with Qatari, containing 200 housing units for widowed and orphaned children in an area It covers 13 hectares, and the construction of the latest and largest hospital with high specifications in Abuja. The State of Qatar has implemented similar housing projects in the state of Sokoto, where 150 housing units were built and delivered to widows and orphans which are all fully funded by the State of Qatari.
