His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Amir of the country, with His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, held an official session of discussions at the Emiri Diwan, on Sunday morning, 03/03/2024.

At the beginning of the session, His Highness the Amir welcomed His Excellency the President of Nigeria and the accompanying delegation, wishing them a pleasant stay, and for bilateral relations between the two countries further development and growth, and that the visit contributes to enhancing and strengthening cooperation between Qatar and Nigeria in various fields in a way that achieves the common interests of the two friendly peoples to broader horizons.

For his part, His Excellency the President of Nigeria expressed his thanks to His Highness the Amir for the warm reception and generous hospitality, hoping that this visit would advance the friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries, allowing the two countries to invest their economic potential to enhance bilateral cooperation between them.

During the session, ways to enhance bilateral relations between the two countries, in the field of trade, economy, investment, energy and education were discussed, in addition to regional and international issues, especially the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories and the war on Gaza.
